What is Yin
At Karma Yoga we practice Hatha Style Yoga, we move with our breath, working mostly our superficial (outer suface) muscles.
Yin Yoga targets the deeper muscles and connective tissues of the lower trunk hips, pelvis and lower spine.
Practicing fewer asanas (poses), maybe only 5 or 6, they are held for longer periods, and often we will use props, really getting in deep.
The new Sunday Yin class will deepen your practice, you will be amazed at how it compliments and improves your Hatha practice. You will feel more open and yet super relaxed after class, ready for whatever Monday has to throw at you.
