Athletes

Many sports are so one-sided that they create asymmetry in the body. Consider games like tennis and

baseball, for example. 

The over or underuse of muscles can cause an imbalance.

These imbalances can lead to injury and could be the reason for existing pain.

Employees

If you sit at a desk all day, you are more than likely underusing some muscles and overusing others. For example, you are probably overusing your fingers, wrists & shoulders and underusing your feet, legs & hips.

Don't waste your lunch hour, ask your employer if they would consider subsidizing a lunchtime Yoga class. It's good for all as you will come back to work refreshed and more productive.

Students - Teachers - Parents

More and more of our kids are suffering from mental health issues, whether it be exam stress, a lack of confidence or bullying, among others. There is a huge push for more resources to be assigned to this area of health. Ask those in decision-making positions to do something about it. 

Yoga is being recommended by medical practitioners to help manage the issues mentioned above. It's not just theory anymore, it is proven. Yoga can help.
